NightInHow to watch Netflix together
- Add NightIn to Chrome (or Edge). Your partner adds it too; the invite link helps them.
- Open the movie or episode on Netflix and start it, so the player is showing.
- Click the NightIn icon and press Start a party. Copy the invite link.
- Send the link by WhatsApp, Messenger or any chat. Opening it brings your partner to the same title on Netflix and joins the party.
- Press play. Pause, skip and speed now stay in sync for both of you.
Each of you needs your own Netflix account. NightIn doesn't share your screen or your login, which is why the picture stays sharp. You can be on different plans or in different countries, as long as the title is available to both of you.

Why not just share your screen?
Netflix blacks out its picture in most screen-sharing and video-call apps, and when it doesn't, the stream arrives blurry and out of time with the sound. With NightIn nothing is shared: each of you streams Netflix directly, and only play, pause and the call travel between you.

Do we both need Netflix?
Yes, each of you needs your own Netflix account. NightIn only keeps the two players in sync; it never shares your login or your screen.

Yes, as long as the title is in both of your Netflix catalogs. If it isn't available for one of you, pick something you can both see.
Do we both need NightIn?

How many people can watch together?
Two for now: NightIn is made for watching with one special person, like a partner far away or a best friend. Bigger parties are on the way.
Does it work on a phone or TV?
Not yet. NightIn is a browser extension, so it works in Chrome and Edge on Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS.
