Is NightIn free?
Yes. Watching together, chat, reactions and calls are free.
Do we both need the extension?
Yes, both of you need NightIn in Chrome or Edge on a computer. If your partner doesn't have it yet, the invite link shows them how to add it in a few seconds.
Do we both need a Netflix (or other) subscription?
Yes. NightIn doesn't share your screen or your account. Each of you streams from your own account, which is why the picture stays sharp.
How many people can join a party?
Two people for now: NightIn is made for watching with one special person. Bigger parties are on the way.
Can NightIn see what I watch?
No. Playback, chat and calls go directly between your browser and your partner's. We only help the two browsers find each other. Read the privacy policy for the details.
Does it work on phones, tablets or TVs?
Not yet. NightIn is a browser extension, so it works in Chrome and Microsoft Edge on Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS.
